For my project so far, I decided to work on a few of my drawings first. I was initially going to sit and draw the three that I would choose for my poems, but then I realized that since the writing has yet to be created, the drawings should be there for me to choose when I see fit. Each piece to your right and left will correspond to my poems that represent the idea of space. I chose to do my personal/emotional space three times of the day; meaning morning, afternoon and evening. My drawings thus far represent feelings and themes that will derive from each poem. The drawings are subject to change, as the writing is not set in stone just yet. I have started a bullet point plan for each poem, just to give me an idea of what they will be like. Although not concrete yet, it really helps the flow of my writing. The drawings have details to them that represent a part of me. For example, the dagger has a double handle that represents the Gemini star sign, and the flowers on the bottom left are Nerium Oleanders, which are my all-time favourite flower.
